Requirements

  • Applicants must demonstrate competency in the specific functions of the post.
  • Must possess a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or NQF Level 4 or higher.
  • Proficiency in at least two official languages, including English.
  • Competence in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; relevant courses will be advantageous.
  • No criminal record or pending criminal/departmental cases.
  • Must be willing to work under pressure and extend hours.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens.

Core Functions

  • Type reports, letters, and memorandums; monitor document flow to the office of the Divisional Commissioner.
  • Maintain records of collected documents for the office.
  • Scrutinize and capture all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Complete and submit monthly vehicle returns.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support.
  • Manage the diary, receive and host visitors for the Divisional Commissioner.
  • Organize traveling and subsistence allowance for the Divisional Commissioner.
  • Ensure effective administration of a bring forward system.

The South African Police Service will conduct residential address verification and reference checks. Appointments will be made per the Public Service Act, 1994 (Act No 103 of 1994).
