Overview:

Minimum Requirements:
- Employment Status: Applicants must not be currently employed or registered in any qualification program or learnership.
- Academic Qualification: A Matric (Grade 12) certificate with a minimum Level 3 in Mathematics and Physical Science is required.
- Post-Matric Qualifications: Applicants must not possess any completed post-matric qualifications. (Failure to disclose will lead to disqualification.)
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Citizenship: Only South African citizens may apply and must hold a valid South African ID.

Primary Duties:
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Monitor water and wastewater quality parameters.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests.
- Help maintain equipment and instruments.
- Participate in sampling and analysis of water and wastewater.
- Attend classes as a part of the learnership program.
- Engage actively in discussions and activities during classes.
- Complete assignments and projects as required.
- Write assessments and keep a practical logbook to track progress and knowledge.
