Job Overview
The Warranty Parts & Finance Controller is responsible for managing warranty claims, checking repair costs, and ensuring financial accuracy in the workshop and parts department. The role also supports reporting and cost control within the Technical Service Center.
Key Responsibilities
Warranty Administration
- Manage and review warranty claims using company systems.
- Check repair orders and job cards for accuracy.
- Ensure claims follow company policies and procedures.
Financial Control
- Record and allocate parts used in repairs.
- Perform daily job costing and monitor expenses.
- Prepare financial and operational reports.
Workshop Support
- Assist with recalls, campaigns, and service actions.
- Identify and correct job card errors.
- Report system or financial issues to the relevant departments.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Certification in Warranty Administration is an advantage.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Experience in after-sales, warranty administration, or dealership operations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems such as SAGA, ElsaPro, SAP, and DMS.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with numbers and large data sets.
