Key Responsibilities
Administration and Reporting
- Ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, and standards
- Handle general enquiries and identify data gaps
- Maintain and update data daily using relevant software and equipment
- Develop and implement data retrieval procedures
- Compile and analyze data from various sources including crime information, imagery, and maps
- Design and update databases with technical knowledge
- Operate and maintain system hardware and software
- Conduct weekly reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
- Perform basic statistical checks and report anomalies
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly crime reports
- Complete incident reports and follow-up actions
- Testify on evidence in hearings
- Conduct shift briefings and complete shift reports and logs
- Monitor and maintain effective internal and external communication
Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain relationships internally and externally at all levels
- Promote open communication and collaboration across functions
Financial Management
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and promote cash conservation
- Support competitiveness on the global cost curve for surface operations
Organizational Culture & ESG Compliance
- Support and participate in organizational development initiatives
- Align with international responsible mining principles such as WGC RGMPs and eTfS
- Contribute to a values-based organizational culture
SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) Compliance
- Adhere to SHE standards and participate in risk assessments
- Investigate risks and implement corrective actions
- Engage in SHE management and participate in relevant forums
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)
- At least 6 months’ experience in a related role
- Medically fit for the specific business area
- Clear security screening record
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
