Eskom is currently recruiting for an Assistant Officer: Learning Delivery to join its Human Resources (Training) team at Majuba Power Station in Mpumalanga. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in Human Resources, training administration, or learning and development who are looking to grow their careers in the energy and utilities sector.

Position Overview

The Assistant Officer: Learning Delivery is responsible for supporting the delivery of training and development programs by ensuring all administrative and operational aspects of learning activities are efficiently managed.

This includes coordinating training logistics, managing training provider contracts, maintaining learning records, and supporting training reporting and archiving processes.

The role contributes to ensuring that Eskom’s training initiatives run smoothly and comply with internal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Course Administration and Logistics

  • Coordinate training schedules and learning delivery logistics
  • Manage course administration and documentation
  • Support the effective delivery of training programs

Training Provider Contracts and Payments

  • Assist with the management of training provider contracts
  • Process invoices and coordinate payments related to training services

Learning Stores and Inventory

  • Manage training material orders
  • Conduct stocktaking for learning centre stores

Training Reporting and Record Management

  • Maintain training records and documentation
  • Compile training and development reports
  • Ensure proper archiving of learning documentation

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric), plus
  • A National Diploma (NQF Level 6, 240 credits) in one of the following fields:
    • Human Resources Management
    • Human Resources Development
    • Social Sciences
    • Education Science

Experience

  • At least 1 year of HR or learning-related experience
