Job Overview

Rand Water is seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide administrative support to the Single Accommodations unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily office tasks, maintaining records, assisting with staff documentation, and ensuring efficient administrative processes.

This role requires someone with strong organizational abilities, customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  • At least 2 years of administration experience
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of SAP and Maximo systems

Key Responsibilities

The Office Assistant will perform several administrative duties, including:

  • Preparing monthly reconciliations of meal coupons
  • Handling daily meal bookings and maintaining accurate records
  • Completing timesheets and time registers
  • Processing and submitting staff HR-related documentation
  • Filing and organizing section documents
