Job Overview

Tiger Brands is offering a 12-month Workplace Experience Student Internship in Randfontein for graduates who require Work Integrated Learning (P1 & P2) to complete their qualifications.

This opportunity allows interns to work on real business projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in food manufacturing and laboratory-related environments. The program is designed to give students a strong foundation for their professional careers.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A National Diploma or B-Tech qualification
  • Qualification must require P1 and P2 workplace training
  • Must have studied one of the following fields:
    • Microbiology
    • Food Technology
    • Biotechnology
    • Biochemistry
  • Be a citizen of the country of hire
  • Be based in the city of hire (Randfontein) or willing to relocate
  • Be in the final year of the qualification
  • Must not have more than 1 year of full-time work experience in the field of study
  • Must have legal work authorization in the country of application

Key Responsibilities

Interns in this program will have the opportunity to:

  • Support project work and operational initiatives
  • Assist with problem-solving and process improvement
  • Work with cross-functional teams on assigned projects
  • Complete a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) project under the guidance of a line manager
  • Gain hands-on experience aligned with their career field
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities that support business objectives
