Job Overview

Microsoft is seeking a Solution Sales Specialist – Cloud & AI to join its high-growth SME&C sales team.

This role focuses on engaging customers across the Africa region, identifying sales opportunities, and driving adoption of AI-powered cloud solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver customer-focused solutions that support business transformation and growth.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in technology sales, account management, or related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Proven ability to engage customers using a consultative sales approach

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience working with SME & commercial customers in South Africa
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems and stakeholder management (advantageous)
  • Understanding of AI-driven and cloud-based solutions

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Sales pipeline and forecasting expertise
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
