Job Overview

Tiger Brands is offering a Workplace Experience opportunity in Risk Management for graduates seeking practical, hands-on exposure in a corporate environment.

This internship is designed to provide Work Integrated Learning (WIL), allowing candidates to gain real-world experience in Risk, Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) functions while contributing to business projects.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Risk Management or equivalent

Experience

  • Suitable for recent graduates (no prior experience required)

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Good analytical and data handling skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project work and delivery within the Risk function
  • Assist with collection and analysis of SHE data
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety activities
  • Support contractor safety management processes
  • Assist in SHE audits, inspections, and investigations
  • Contribute to SHE training and awareness campaigns
  • Review SHE procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct Planned Job Observations (PJOs)
  • Perform general administrative and project-related tasks
