Job Overview

Valterra Platinum is offering an Engineering Learnership Programme for aspiring Instrument Mechanicians.

This programme provides a combination of structured theoretical training and hands-on workplace experience, allowing candidates to develop technical skills and work toward a nationally recognised artisan qualification.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • Matric with:
    • Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
    • Physical Science
    • English
      (Minimum 40% pass in all subjects)

OR

  • N2 or higher with:
    • Instrument Trade Theory / Industrial Instrument
    • Industrial Electronics
    • Mathematics
    • Engineering Science

OR

  • NCV Level 4 in a relevant trade (minimum 40% pass in all subjects)

Required Documents

  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • South African ID copy
  • Proof of residence (for host community applicants)

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured training (theoretical and practical)
