Job Overview
Valterra Platinum is offering an Engineering Learnership Programme for aspiring Instrument Mechanicians.
This programme provides a combination of structured theoretical training and hands-on workplace experience, allowing candidates to develop technical skills and work toward a nationally recognised artisan qualification.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Matric with:
- Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- Physical Science
- English
(Minimum 40% pass in all subjects)
OR
- N2 or higher with:
- Instrument Trade Theory / Industrial Instrument
- Industrial Electronics
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
OR
- NCV Level 4 in a relevant trade (minimum 40% pass in all subjects)

Key Responsibilities
