Job Overview
CCBSA is offering an exciting Visual Merchandiser Learnership for unemployed youth across South Africa. This programme provides structured, work-based learning designed to equip participants with practical sales, merchandising, and customer service skills.
Learners will gain hands-on experience in executing merchandising standards, supporting sales processes, and enhancing product visibility in retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Execution & Merchandising
- Execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets
- Implement visual merchandising standards and in-store displays
- Ensure product availability, quality, and visibility
- Conduct stock rotation and maintain merchandising compliance
Sales & Customer Support
- Support customers with order placement via the MyCCBA platform
- Assist with promotional activities to boost brand visibility
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve targets
Reporting & Compliance
- Complete iRED surveys and execution scorecards
- Follow company merchandising and branding guidelines
- Provide feedback on store performance and customer insights
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
- English and a second language (minimum 40%)
- Must be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- Must be unemployed at the time of application
- Must not be enrolled in another learnership or full-time studies
- Must not have completed the same qualification previously
- No criminal record or adverse credit record
- Must consent to background checks
