Job Overview
Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photographer to join its Platinum Rustenburg operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing and providing high-quality photographic content to support operational requirements within the mining environment.
This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent)
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a related photography role
Additional Requirements
- Medically fit to work in the designated environment
- Clear security screening record
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities
Photography & Documentation
- Capture photographs according to work instructions
- Provide accurate photographic information to relevant sections
- Record and maintain relevant visual documentation
Equipment & Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of all photography equipment
- Store and manage batteries according to company standards
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation
- Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with external service providers to improve processes
Financial & Operational Support
- Contribute to cost-saving and cash conservation initiatives
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards
- Participate in risk assessments and implement corrective actions
