Job Overview
AfriSam invites applications for its 2026 Internship Programme in Analytical Chemistry. This 24-month internship is designed for students who have completed their theoretical studies and require practical (WIL) experience to graduate.
Successful candidates will join the Quality Department at the Roodepoort Plant, gaining hands-on experience in laboratory testing, quality control, and materials analysis within a leading construction materials environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with laboratory testing and quality control processes
- Support analysis of cement, aggregates, and related materials
- Maintain accurate records of test results and findings
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
- Assist with reporting and documentation in the Quality Department
- Adhere to safety and operational protocols in the laboratory
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have completed all theoretical modules
- Require practical (WIL) experience to graduate
Academic Requirements:
- Minimum 60% academic average
