Job Location: US Remote (with some travel)
Closing Date: April 15
Contract: Non-Regular Part-Time (NRPT), 10-19 hours per week (with potential to move to full-time)
Compensation: $45/hour

Role Overview

Funders for Birth Justice and Equity (FBJE) seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Co-Directors, Kyndall Osibodu and Nakeenya Wilson.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization at an exciting inflection point, supporting organizational growth and major upcoming events such as the 2026 Summit.

The role is remote within the US, with some travel required, and has the potential to evolve into a full-time position based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage complex calendars, draft and edit communications, and handle expense reporting for both Co-Directors
  • Prepare contracts and invoices; compile and track payment materials

Meeting & Event Logistics

  • Support agenda preparation and logistics for advisory committee meetings, monthly learning series, and project meetings
  • Coordinate the 2026 Summit and other organizational convenings in collaboration with the planning team

Grants & Documentation Tracking

  • Track grant submissions with the Grant Contractor and Co-Directors; ensure timely compilation and submission
  • Maintain organized records in shared drives and support internal documentation and workflow development

Communications & Coordination

  • Draft templates and support internal documentation consistency
  • Assist with team communications and cross-functional coordination with partners, funders, and working groups

Systems & Records Management

  • Maintain accurate records for funders, partners, and working group members using CRM systems

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an executive assistant, operations, or administrative support role, preferably within a nonprofit or philanthropic setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills, capable of drafting polished correspondence and documents

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (experience with Salesforce, Airtable, or similar platforms is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and shared drive management
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to anticipate needs
  • Genuine alignment with FBJE’s mission and commitment to birth equity and reproductive justice

  • Step 3: Round 1 interviews will be conducted the week of April 27.
  • Step 4: A take-home assignment will be provided during the week of May 4.
  • Step 5: Final interviews will take place the week of May 11 or 18.
  • Step 6: An offer will be extended by the end of May.
