Job Overview
Tiger Brands is seeking a highly organized and experienced Secretary to support Directors and their teams.
The role focuses on managing administrative tasks, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, allowing leadership to focus on strategic priorities.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must have:
- NQF Level 4 (Matric), preferably with a secretarial qualification
- 3–5 years of secretarial experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Typing speed of at least 75 words per minute
- Excellent grammar and editing skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of office management and basic accounting procedures
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diaries, appointments, and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and prepare meeting packs
- Take minutes and handle correspondence
- Prepare presentations, reports, and spreadsheets
- Arrange domestic and international travel
- Handle filing, mail sorting, and call screening
- Manage office supplies, catering, and facilities
- Process expense claims and purchase orders
- Track departmental budgets and expenses
- Perform general administrative and ad hoc tasks
