Role Overview
The Deputy Director, Global Partnerships and Network is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering 350.org’s global network strategy.
Job Title: Deputy Director, Global Partnerships and Network
Location: Remote (Global – eligible countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and others)
Contract: Full-time (36 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible (flexible)

You will lead a distributed team and ensure that partnerships and grassroots networks are strategically aligned, politically impactful, and effectively mobilized to support global campaigns.
This role bridges regional organizing and global strategy, ensuring that networks actively shape and deliver campaign priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Delivery
- Contribute to the design of high-impact global climate campaigns
- Ensure network strategies drive measurable campaign outcomes
- Strengthen engagement planning and execution across regions
Partnerships & Network Development
- Build and steward global networks of local groups, volunteers, and partners
- Develop long-term, strategic partnerships across movements and institutions
- Strengthen volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and leadership pathways
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage Regional Network Coordinators across multiple regions
- Provide coaching, performance management, and strategic direction
- Foster cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing
Data, Systems & Technology
- Promote data-driven decision-making and network health tracking
- Oversee CRM systems and digital tools for network development
- Ensure accurate, actionable data across teams
Strategy & Organisational Alignment
- Align network efforts with global campaign priorities
- Contribute to organisational strategy and planning
- Represent 350.org in global forums, media, and stakeholder engagements
Person Specification
Essential Requirements
- 8–10+ years’ experience in campaigning, organising, or movement-building
- 4+ years managing remote, international teams
- Proven success in building and scaling grassroots or volunteer networks
- Strong leadership, coaching, and intercultural communication skills
- Experience applying JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) principles
- Expertise in digital organising and CRM systems
- Excellent project management and strategic planning abilities
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a strong advantage)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with climate movements or environmental campaigns
- Background in coalition-building and large-scale mobilisations
- Experience working with frontline or Indigenous communities
