Role Overview
The Junior Associate will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of CGM projects, from initial screening and validation to monitoring, verification, and final issuance of impact assets.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to combine technical, analytical, and commercial skills with purpose-driven work. You will contribute to ensuring that project outcomes are credible, comparable, and grounded in real data.
Working across teams, you will support suppliers and auditors while strengthening processes that underpin high-integrity impact measurement and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Support
- Assist in screening and validating projects entering the CGM pipeline
- Support monitoring, verification, and issuance of Verified Impact Assets (VIAs)
- Help ensure consistency and quality across all project stages
Data & Impact Measurement
- Work with data to assess and validate project outcomes
- Support the development of robust, evidence-based impact metrics
- Ensure outputs are credible, comparable, and aligned with CGM standards
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with CGM Suppliers and Auditors
- Support coordination across multiple stakeholders and workflows
- Help maintain clear communication and documentation throughout project cycles
Research & Analysis
- Conduct research to support project validation and improvement
- Contribute to analytical tasks that enhance impact assessment methodologies
- Build technical capacity in impact measurement and innovative finance
Person Specification
Essential Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in:
- Impact measurement
- Research or consulting
- Innovative finance or related fields
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global environment
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Interest in impact-driven work and sustainable development
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with global or cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with impact verification or monitoring frameworks
- Knowledge of sustainable finance or development sectors
