Role Overview
GitLab is seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage and optimize procurement processes across the organization.

Work Setup: Fully Remote (Requires overlap with Pacific Time Zone)
This role focuses on handling low-risk, lower-value vendor engagements, particularly across marketing sponsorships, field events, and corporate events. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement workflows, supporting internal stakeholders, and leveraging data to improve purchasing decisions and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Own end-to-end procurement processes for low-risk vendor engagements
- Manage procurement intake using systems like Zip
- Maintain accurate procurement data across enterprise systems
Stakeholder Support
- Act as a go-to resource for procurement-related queries
- Guide internal teams through procurement policies and workflows
- Provide support via collaboration tools like Slack
Vendor & Contract Support
- Assist with RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Support contract renewals and vendor communications
- Contribute to bid reviews and savings analysis
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assess total cost of ownership
- Develop procurement reports and dashboards
Performance & Process Improvement
- Track and report key procurement KPIs such as:
- Purchase order cycle time
- Budget vs. savings
- Compliance rate
- Spend by category
- Improve procurement workflows and operational efficiency
Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in procurement or purchasing operations
- Hands-on experience with procure-to-pay systems (e.g. Zip or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret spend data
- Ability to create reports and track KPIs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range (United States)
- $53,800 – $115,200 USD (base salary)
