Role Overview
The Apheresis Telerecruiter plays a vital role in ensuring a stable blood supply by recruiting donors through telephone outreach.

In this fully remote position, you will engage with donors, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records to help meet blood collection goals while supporting life-saving efforts across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Recruitment & Engagement
- Contact current apheresis and whole blood donors via phone
- Follow established scripts and processes to recruit donors
- Escalate complex or sensitive calls when necessary
Appointment Scheduling
- Schedule donor appointments to maximize daily turnout
- Coordinate reminders and ensure consistent donor engagement
- Meet daily targets for calls and scheduled appointments
Record Management & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and appointments
- Ensure data accuracy to support planning and avoid service issues
- Develop knowledge of donor eligibility criteria to reduce deferrals
Program Support
- Assist in identifying new donor leads and recruitment opportunities
- Support recruitment managers in implementing donor engagement strategies
- Provide guidance and support to volunteers when needed
Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Experience in customer service, call centers, or outreach roles is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Training
- Must be available for a flexible schedule during the first 4–6 weeks of training
