Role Overview

The CFO Programme Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Finance, Legal, and I&T teams within the CFO Directorate.

  • Location: London, United Kingdom

  • Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)
  • Working Hours: 17.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £42,038 (Full-Time Equivalent)

This position focuses on financial coordination, administrative support, and operational efficiency, ensuring smooth workflows and enabling teams to deliver on strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Administration

  • Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Liaise with suppliers and Accounts Payable teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
  • Maintain compliance with financial procedures

Financial Coordination

  • Set up RAM (Resource Allocation Mechanism) and FIF (Fundraising Investment Fund) payment tranches
  • Coordinate emergency payments when required
  • Support financial tracking and reporting processes

Year-End Financial Support

  • Assist with financial year-end processes
  • Ensure correct allocation of financial data across reporting periods
  • Support accuracy and compliance in financial records

Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in financial administration (purchase orders, invoices, requisitions)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
