Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant at Systemic Justice – Remote (UK, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands)
Are you passionate about social justice and community empowerment? Systemic Justice is looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support their leadership team remotely from the UK, Denmark, Germany, or the Netherlands.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Remote (UK, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands)
Closing Date: 30 April 2024
Contract: Temporary consultancy, 6 months, starting ASAP (4 days/week, 32 hours)
Compensation: Approx. 35-55 EUR per hour including VAT (to be determined)
This 6-month consultancy role offers a chance to contribute to transformative justice work across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Support to Legal Team
- Schedule community partner meetings and community of practice sessions
- Coordinate event logistics and prepare materials for workshops and meetings
- Manage files, case records, and maintain organized documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and Finance Team for invoices and payments
Support to Senior Leadership Team
- Organize leadership meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
- Manage travel bookings, itineraries, and expense reports
- Assist with internal meeting scheduling
Support to Executive Director
- Prepare materials for board meetings, including agendas and presentations
- Track action items and follow-up with stakeholders
- Coordinate with the Supervisory Board on logistics and documentation
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in administrative, executive assistant, or operations support roles; experience supporting senior leadership preferred
- Commitment to anti-racism and social justice values
- Ability to manage a busy workload, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail
- Experience working with communities impacted by injustice
- Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, multi-time zone environment
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
