Role Overview
The Global Partnerships Manager will join Amnesty International’s Global Fundraising team to secure funding for global programmes, with a strong focus on Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.

- Salary: GBP 65,610 per annum (London rate; may vary by location)

This role is dynamic and strategic, offering the opportunity to collaborate across international programme teams on key global issues such as authoritarianism, big tech accountability, climate justice, and freedom of expression.
You will manage an existing donor portfolio while building a strong pipeline of new funding opportunities and supporting regional fundraising capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Business Development
- Develop high-quality concept notes, proposals, and funding opportunities targeting trusts, foundations, and institutional donors
- Identify and secure new philanthropic partnerships aligned with human rights priorities
- Build and maintain a sustainable funding pipeline
Donor Management & Compliance
- Manage and steward a portfolio of trust and foundation donors
- Ensure timely, high-quality donor reporting and compliance
- Strengthen relationships to secure renewals and long-term partnerships
Regional Collaboration
- Work closely with teams across Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia to strengthen fundraising capacity
- Coordinate multi-country funding initiatives and regional programmes
- Support country and regional offices in accessing funding opportunities
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience developing large-scale, multi-year funding proposals (£750k+)
- Experience working across diverse regions, cultures, and time zones
- Strong track record in philanthropic partnership development within nonprofits or social enterprises
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and representation skills
- Understanding of equitable fundraising practices
- Experience with donor compliance and reporting
Desirable
- Experience with US-based trusts and foundations
- Experience fundraising for programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa and/or Eastern Europe and Central Asia
