Role Overview

As a Sustainability Sales Manager, you will take ownership of expanding NetCero’s presence in the German market, driving new business and closing high-value B2B SaaS deals.

  • Location: Remote (Germany focus; offices in Berlin, Graz, Vienna)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time (Employee)
  • Seniority Level: Mid–Senior / Department or Division Head
  • Salary Range: €53,802 – €120,000+ per year (OTE €72,000 – €120,000+ with uncapped commission)
  • Work Model: Flexible (Remote / Hybrid / On-site options available)

This role combines commercial performance with sustainability impact, giving you the opportunity to sell a product that directly supports organisations in achieving their climate and ESG goals.

You will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—while contributing to the company’s broader go-to-market strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive expansion in the German market
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise customers
  • Conduct cold outreach and organise product demos
  • Manage the full sales funnel from lead generation to closing

Strategy & Market Development

  • Contribute to and refine the sales strategy
  • Execute strategic lead generation campaigns
  • Identify market opportunities and growth areas

Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain a network of partners and industry stakeholders
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and events
  • Engage with decision-makers and enterprise clients

Sales Operations

  • Maintain and update CRM systems
  • Track performance and sales activities
  • Support pipeline management and forecasting

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and/or sustainability
  • Proven experience in enterprise sales and working with decision-makers
  • Strong cold calling and lead generation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Self-driven with a strong “hunter mentality”
  • Ability to work independently in an agile environment

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, or climate solutions
  • Existing B2B network
  • Experience in fast-growing or startup environments
