Role Overview
As a Nature Solutions Analyst, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact conservation and restoration projects. Working closely with the Nature Solutions Lead, you will contribute to both technical and strategic outputs that support clients in developing investor-ready, nature-positive projects.

This role sits at the intersection of science, policy, and green finance, requiring the ability to translate complex environmental data into actionable insights that drive real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Design & Delivery
- Support feasibility assessments for conservation and restoration projects, evaluating ecological potential and financial viability
- Conduct ecosystem service modelling across carbon, biodiversity, water, and soil
- Contribute to the development and refinement of methodologies for environmental outcome measurement
- Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for project design and investment decisions
- Assist in preparing documentation for Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) schemes and environmental markets
- Apply knowledge of UK environmental policy and market mechanisms to project development
- Contribute to advisory and consultancy projects including policy analysis and market research
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project partners and stakeholders
- Gather and manage information required for project design and delivery
- Support partners through consultancy services aligned with project contracts
Written Communication & Knowledge Production
- Develop high-quality project concept and design documents
- Prepare submissions for certification bodies issuing ecosystem service credits
- Translate complex ecological data into accessible insights for diverse audiences
- Contribute to internal knowledge development and thought leadership
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in ecology, environmental science, environmental economics, conservation biology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of environmental survey methodologies (carbon, biodiversity, soil, water)
- Knowledge of experimental design principles
- Experience managing partnerships in environmental, conservation, or research settings
- Excellent written communication skills, including technical documentation for non-specialist audiences
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including to remote locations
Desirable Skills
- Postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of natural capital markets and green finance
- Project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Budget management experience
- Experience working with local communities
- Public speaking or science communication experience
