Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship 2026
Google is inviting applications for the Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship 2026, a transformative virtual fellowship designed for impact-driven entrepreneurs and community leaders using technology and artificial intelligence to solve pressing local challenges.
The fellowship provides participants with expert-led entrepreneurial training, AI skills development, mentorship opportunities, and access to a collaborative network of innovators working to create measurable community impact.
Selected Fellows will also have the opportunity to present their local solution pitches during the Virtual Summit to entrepreneurs, Google representatives, peers, and community stakeholders.
Program Dates
Fellowship Duration
- Program Start Date: 1 September 2026
- Program End Date: 14 January 2027
Immersive Virtual Program
- Week 1: 1 September – 4 September 2026 (Tuesday–Friday)
- Week 2: 8 September – 11 September 2026 (Monday–Thursday)
Virtual Summit
- Date: 14 January 2027
During the summit, selected Fellows will showcase their community solutions and entrepreneurial initiatives to an engaged audience.
Weekly Schedule and Time Commitment
Weekly Workshops
Virtual workshops will take place every:
- Tuesday
- Wednesday
- Thursday
Participants will join one of two groups:
- 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM MT
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM MT
Time Commitment
Fellows should expect to dedicate approximately:
- 8–10 hours per week
This includes:
- Workshops
- Community-building activities
- Optional mentorship sessions
- Basecamp planning and implementation
- Summit preparation activities

- Loudoun County, Virginia
- Midlothian, Texas
- Omaha, Nebraska
- Stillwater, Oklahoma
- Tulsa, Oklahoma (including Pryor/Muskogee areas)
International
- Groningen, Netherlands
- Hamina, Finland
- Waltham Cross/Hertfordshire, Thurrock or Epping/Essex, and Greater London Area, United Kingdom
Applicants must demonstrate that their work directly benefits communities within these regions.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the fellowship, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Demonstrate leadership and measurable community impact
- Have a local initiative or solution with early traction
- Be able to commit fully to the fellowship schedule and workshops
- Show a strong entrepreneurial mindset and growth-oriented approach
Both for-profit and nonprofit initiatives are welcome.
Application Process
Step 1: Submit an Online Application
Candidates must complete the online application, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
- Priority Deadline: 12 July 2026
- Applications submitted early receive priority consideration.
- Applications will continue to be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
Step 2: Application Review
Applications will be evaluated by the Admissions Committee based on:
- Leadership experience

- Scalability of local solutions
Step 3: Interview
Shortlisted applicants will participate in a:
- 20-minute Zoom interview
Candidates will discuss:
- Their entrepreneurial journey
- Their local initiative

Step 4: Final Selection
- Final decisions announced by 3 August 2026
- Accepted candidates must confirm enrollment to secure participation
