Position Overview

Calyx Global is seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to lead marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility, strengthen industry partnerships, and drive revenue growth.

This is a highly hands-on role that combines strategic planning with day-to-day execution. The successful candidate will manage marketing channels, coordinate campaigns, oversee events and communications, and work closely with the sales team to generate qualified leads and support business growth.

The role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing the opportunity to engage with global stakeholders across the climate, sustainability, and carbon market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry publications, coalitions, sustainability platforms, and professional organizations.
  • Create opportunities for Calyx Global to reach target audiences through strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate co-branded content initiatives, joint events, academy programs, and publication placements.
  • Serve as a key connector between Calyx Global and the broader carbon market ecosystem.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that support business development and brand awareness goals.

Event Strategy and Execution

  • Lead planning, coordination, and logistics for major conferences, industry forums, client events, and networking dinners.
  • Support company representatives in establishing event objectives, agendas, and engagement strategies.
  • Manage registrations, invitations, attendee communications, and event follow-up activities.
  • Organize strategic side events during major industry gatherings such as Climate Week and London Climate Week.
  • Oversee webinar delivery from planning and promotion through execution and post-event reporting.
  • Travel occasionally to support in-person events and conferences.

Content and Communications

  • Drive the company’s communications strategy and content calendar.
  • Review and coordinate blog articles, email campaigns, social media content, and media outreach efforts.
  • Ensure all communications align with brand standards, messaging, and quality expectations.
  • Manage Calyx Global’s social media presence, with a strong focus on LinkedIn.
  • Build relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
  • Develop and pitch content opportunities that enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.

Campaign Management

  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns focused on lead generation and account engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align campaigns with business development objectives.
  • Coordinate campaign briefs and ensure timely delivery of content, email communications, and social media activities.
  • Support marketing automation initiatives and audience segmentation strategies.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations teams to optimize outreach and campaign performance.

Marketing Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze campaign, event, and channel performance metrics.
  • Track lead generation activities and conversion outcomes.
  • Produce reports that provide visibility into marketing effectiveness and revenue contribution.
  • Conduct account research to support sales opportunities and market intelligence.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting systems that enable data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and executing marketing initiatives that generate sales pipeline and revenue opportunities.
  • Experience organizing and managing participation in industry conferences, partnership programs, and co-branded events.
  • Proven ability to work closely with sales teams to generate qualified leads and support business growth.
  • Experience engaging with corporate clients and professional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret performance data and communicate insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and content quality standards.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently within a distributed remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:

  • Knowledge of carbon markets, carbon credit ecosystems, sustainability initiatives, and climate-related industries.
  • Familiarity with key carbon market publications, conferences, industry coalitions, and stakeholders.
  • Experience using HubSpot, Asana, and Zoom Webinar.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing, including organic growth and paid promotion strategies.
  • Experience working with Canva and adapting content using pre-designed templates.
  • Understanding of marketing automation and lead nurturing workflows.
