These positions offer aspiring professionals the chance to gain hands-on experience in digital fundraising, technology-enabled operations, data management, marketing, fundraising systems, and global humanitarian work.
Position 1: Digital Fundraising Intern
Role Overview
The Digital Fundraising Intern will join the Individual Giving Global Supporter Acquisition Team and help support the execution of WFP’s digital fundraising campaigns worldwide.
WFP operates one of the fastest-growing individual fundraising programmes among humanitarian organizations, reaching supporters across more than 180 countries through a digital-first strategy that leverages platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, email, SMS, social media, and donor engagement technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Support
- Support campaign setup across Meta, TikTok, Drupal, and fundraising platforms.
- Ensure campaign creatives align with approved messaging and compliance requirements.
- Configure donation pages, redirects, and tracking URLs.
- Assist with campaign documentation and workflow coordination across platforms such as Asana, SharePoint, and GoDonate.
Creative Production Support
- Assist in developing campaign clearance documentation.
- Review photo and video content for fundraising campaigns.
- Create draft social media graphics and carousel content using Canva.
- Support proofreading, content reviews, and translations where applicable.
Celebrity Fundraising and Research
- Conduct background research on celebrity fundraising prospects.
- Assist campaign managers with risk assessments and engagement preparation.
Campaign Analysis
- Support campaign monitoring and performance analysis.
- Assist with reporting using Tableau dashboards and fundraising performance metrics.
- Help prepare celebrity fundraising impact reports.
Ideal Background

Position 2: Tech Team Intern
Role Overview
The Tech Team Intern will support the Individual Giving Tech Team within the Private Partnerships and Fundraising Division.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, fundraising operations, reporting, systems management, testing, and process improvement. The successful candidate will work across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Asana, supporting operational efficiency and technology-enabled fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Coordination
- Support recurring operational processes and team coordination activities.
- Track tasks, actions, and follow-up activities across multiple projects.
- Prepare operational summaries and status updates.
Systems and Platform Support
- Assist with Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Asana-related activities.
- Support data uploads, validation, and system checks.
- Contribute to platform maintenance and operational processes.
Testing and Validation
- Participate in testing new platform features and updates.
- Identify, document, and report bugs or system issues.
- Validate reports, outputs, and operational processes.
Data and Reporting
- Maintain reporting trackers and monitor data quality.
- Assist with recurring reports and operational dashboards.
- Identify anomalies and support corrective actions.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Maintain internal documentation and process guides.
- Organize SharePoint repositories and knowledge resources.
- Support onboarding materials and team documentation initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
- Support implementation of process enhancements and best practices.
