Role Overview

Amnesty International is looking for an Accounts Payable Treasury Officer to join its Finance team in London on a one-year fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will help deliver high-quality financial services by ensuring timely payments to suppliers, employees, and other beneficiaries while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance with finance policies.

This role also involves working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Convera, AccessPay, Lloyds Bank, Clarity, and Concur to manage payments, procurement, and travel-related financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

As the Accounts Payable Treasury Officer, you will:

  • Process batch payments through Convera and AccessPay.
  • Process single payments via Lloyds Bank.
  • Process supplier invoices using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and finance policies.
  • Set up new suppliers within the D365 system.
  • Maintain accurate accounting ledger entries.
  • Post bank transactions to financial ledgers.
  • Review staff expense claims and receipts using the Concur expense management system.
  • Support effective financial control and reporting.
  • Deliver excellent customer service across Amnesty International’s global operations.

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working within an Accounts Payable team in a large organization.
  • Experience processing multiple foreign currency payments.
  • Strong financial accounting and internal control knowledge.
  • Experience dealing with UK and international banking systems.
  • Ability to develop financial procedures and training materials.
  • Experience communicating financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
