Role Overview
The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Philanthropy Revenue Quality Assurance Specialist to join its Philanthropy Revenue Management & Operations Team within Global Development.

This role is responsible for reviewing and approving donor revenue transactions entered into TNC’s constituent database, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with donor stewardship standards and financial regulations.
The successful candidate will work closely with fundraising, finance, legal, audit, and operational teams to ensure that revenue transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
The position requires availability during working hours aligned with one of the United States time zones.
Key Responsibilities
As the Philanthropy Revenue Quality Assurance Specialist, you will:
Revenue Quality Assurance
- Review and approve revenue transactions entered into Blackbaud CRM (BB CRM).
- Ensure transaction accuracy and compliance before committing records to constituent and finance databases.
- Manage batch review and batch commit processes.
- Monitor and resolve transaction exceptions and discrepancies.
Financial and Operational Support
- Coordinate with Finance teams to resolve coding and donor intent issues.
- Support revenue management processes and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with donor stewardship requirements and accounting standards.
Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process vulnerabilities.
- Recommend improvements to revenue management workflows and procedures.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate reports and analyze revenue-related data.
- Monitor trends and identify recurring issues requiring corrective action.
- Provide recommendations for training and process enhancements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Development, Finance, Audit, Legal, and Business Unit teams.
- Serve as a key liaison on revenue management matters.
- Support internal users with technical and process-related questions.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience generating reports and analyzing data.
- Experience working across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
- Experience using technology and systems related to nonprofit revenue management.
- Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising operations and revenue management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following will have an advantage:
- Experience with Blackbaud CRM (BB CRM) or similar fundraising systems.
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards and donor stewardship requirements.
- Experience supporting fundraising operations and gift processing.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance.
- Experience in philanthropy operations within a nonprofit organization.

$68,100 – $100,500 per year
