About the Opportunity
World Vision UK is seeking an IT Project Test Assistant to support one of the organization’s most significant technology transformation projects.
Job Title: IT Project Test Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time (Part-time considered)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (3 Months)
Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £25,080 per annum plus benefits

The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a new platform designed to improve business processes, enhance collaboration, and support fundraising efforts that generate more than £55 million annually for vulnerable children.
Working alongside the Project Manager, developers, and colleagues across the organization, you will help with project documentation, system testing, training materials, and maintaining project records.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain practical experience in IT projects, business systems, and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support
You will:
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project activities.
- Create clear documentation from meetings and project information.
- Develop process flows and diagrams.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Manage document version control across multiple project files.
System Testing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting user acceptance and system testing.
- Following test scripts accurately.
- Recording test outcomes and quality assurance results.
- Identifying and reporting issues during testing.
Training and Documentation
You will also:
- Prepare user guides and training materials.
- Develop project resources for end users.
- Help colleagues understand and adopt the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
- Provide additional project and IT service support when required.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written procedures carefully.
- Confidence working independently while collaborating with teams.
- Ability to communicate progress, raise questions, and report issues professionally.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates should have:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to write clear, concise documentation.
- Strong analytical and information summarization skills.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues who have varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Previous experience in IT projects or the charity sector is beneficial but not essential.
Recent graduates with degrees in:
- Information Systems
- Business
- Information Technology
- Or related disciplines
are encouraged to apply.
Working Arrangements
This hybrid position requires employees to:
- Work from the Milton Keynes office at least three days per week.
- Work remotely for the remaining one or two days where appropriate.
