Job Overview:
The Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our Human Resources team as an HR Intern.
This role offers an invaluable opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in various HR processes, contributing to our mission of enhancing the credibility and competitiveness of South Africa’s perishable product industries.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To provide a graduate with hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the organization’s HR functions.

- Gain practical exposure to day-to-day HR operational activities including:
- Recruitment processes
- Onboarding of new employees
- Maintenance of employee records
- Employee wellness initiatives
- Performance management systems
- Employee relations
- Offboarding procedures
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience:
- No prior experience is required; this role is specifically aimed at unemployed graduates.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with South African Labour Laws is an advantage.
