Job Overview:

Bigen Group is seeking a qualified Engineering Draughtsperson to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in civil engineering draughting and be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 certificate.
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years in draughting.
  • Extensive experience using Civil 3D.
  • Experience in civil infrastructure services, including water, sewer, roads, and stormwater, particularly for housing developments.

• Technical Skills:

  • Accreditation in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in producing drawings that involve x-ref drawings, sewer/stormwater/water networks, longitudinal sections, and layouts for roads and pipe networks.

• Additional Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

• Compile all civil engineering drawings.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to quality control standards before submission to clients.
• Gather project information and handle administration tasks.
• Assist in designing infrastructure components such as roads, sewer, stormwater, and water pipelines, and building platforms.
• Maintain records and manage the issuance of drawings.

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and relevant experience.
