Job Summary:
The Kitroom Intern will be responsible for managing work orders specific to their product line or workstation, strictly following established procedures, and demonstrating proficiency in their assigned areas. The role supports sales through the decontamination, management, dispatch, and inventory of used kits, ensuring high-quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Task Execution: Complete repetitive tasks and adhere strictly to established procedures and instructions.
- Performance Goals: Meet defined goals related to quality, customer experience, innovation, people development, and financial results.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily/weekly cleaning routines and contribute ideas for improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of personal production outputs and assist the team in attaining collective production targets.
- Competency Maintenance: Complete and retain competencies required for all applicable workstations.
- Team Engagement: Actively engage in employee development through responsibility, accountability, dignity, respect, and fostering personal growth.
- Operational Excellence: Promote a product-focused organization, engage in continuous improvement initiatives, participate in safety programs, and contribute to sales growth and cost reduction while ensuring product reliability and quality.
- Quality Standards: Uphold and enforce quality standards, maintaining proactive communication with Kitroom staff.
- Attendance: Follow the attendance policy as described in the company handbook.

Qualification/Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Matric; preferably a Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
- Citizenship: Preference will be given to South African citizens.
