The Oppenheimer Memorial Trust (OMT) is pleased to announce a limited number of prestigious scholarships available for students pursuing Honours Degree studies at Sol Plaatje University.
Closing date for applications: 31 January 2025.
These scholarships are aimed at individuals with a strong academic background who aspire to careers in academia, research, development, or related fields.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a first-time entering Honours degree student.
- Be 28 years of age or younger in the year of application.
- Demonstrate academic excellence.
Scholarship Details:
*Note: OMT award recipients must choose accommodation that is close to the University campus.
For part-time students: Only tuition fees are covered, and an average of 75% or higher must be achieved.
Application Process:
- Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.
- Successful applicants will be required to participate in compulsory developmental and support activities.
