Job Description and Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and promoting Visa’s brand in the marketplace. You’ll get hands-on experience working with a dynamic team dedicated to building brand awareness and driving customer engagement across B2B and B2C channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Assist in briefing and coordinating with external agencies, as well as maintaining relationships with media partners.
  • Campaign Planning: Participate in the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns, including launch events and partnership initiatives.
  • Social Impact Measurement: Help measure and celebrate Visa’s social impact by collecting data, creating case studies, and producing insightful reports.

  • Brand Promotion: Promote Visa’s services through various channels, including social media, public relations, events, and public affairs.
  • Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer transactional data and social media behavior to identify actionable insights.
  • Content Creation: Create and maintain engaging content across different platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Applicants must be completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or IT, graduating no later than December 2025.
  • Availability: Interns must be available for a full-time internship for three months (June 3, 2025, to August 28, 2025).

  • Future Employment: Candidates must be available to transition into a full-time role by January 2026.
  • Current Student Status: Must be a student at the time of the internship, finishing coursework by the end of 2025.
  • Citizenship: This position requires South African citizenship.
