The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF) is recruiting for the Advocacy and Communications Internship Programme 2024.

Closing date: 7 June 2024.

Location: The successful candidate should he prepared to work from Parktown, Johannesburg

The Advocacy and Communications Internship programme is a 12-month contract opportunity.

About SARGF

The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF) runs the flagship National Responsible Gambling Programme (NRGP).

The SARGF is a public-private initiative between the government gambling regulators and the gambling industry in South Africa.

It is funded by contributions from the South African gambling industry – which includes the casino, sports betting, bingo and limited pay-out machine (LPM) industries.

Minimum requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Corporate/Marketmg Communication, Brand Communication, Strategic Communication or Public Relations.
    • Advantageous: Honours
  • 0 – 2 years minimum experience
  • Basic knowledge of how Communications, Public Relations, social media, Events & Activations, are interlinked and co-depentient.
  • Valid driver’s licence
