Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field
  • Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling.
  • Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.  
  • You must be legally authorised to work in South Africa to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).

Responsibilities

A Field Integrated Marketing Intern drives Microsoft’s business objectives through integrated marketing campaigns aligned to globally defined priorities, strategies, and programs.

Develops local marketing plans that drive customer demand based on global program availability, functional expertise, and local market knowledge and insights.

Ensures marketing plan execution upholds global strategic guidance, regulatory and compliance standards and Microsoft Accessibility and Privacy principles.

Key performance areas 

In addition to having a working understanding of the B-BBEE codes, the successful incumbent must deliver on the following key performance areas: 

Emerging Black Partner Programme (EBPP) Support: 

  • Support and accelerate the development of skills and commercial capabilities of 100% Black-Owned SMME partners to support Digital Transformation requirements for customers in South Africa. 
  • Ensure that all the required programme documentation meets minimum criteria and is legitimate and verifiable. 

  • Ensure that all ESD-related agreements and contracts have been signed and saved, to ensure compliance with the law as well as compliance with MSSA policies, processes and procedures 
  • Assist with drafting relevant communication materials (internal and external) for the EBPP programme
