Wash Bay Operator

| POSITION DESCRPTION | TMM/Wash Bay Operator | |
Job Purpose
- Washes and cleans mine vehicles and equipment. Operates the TMM wash bay area and monitors and schedules the washing of
- TMM equipment/machinery.
- Advises superiors of issues noted with TMM equipment as they go to the wash bay area – for instance mechanical or other defaults noted.
- Performs safety inspections of the wash bay area and ensures all pumps and pipes are running and maintain register accurately.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / MatricFirst Aid and Fire Fighting Training will be advantageous. (Once employed the incumbent will be expected to successfully complete, HIRA, First Aid and Fire Fighting training)
- Valid Driver’s License
Engineering Maintenance Planner

Job Purpose
- Co-ordinates operation and administration of planned maintenance systems and activities of maintenance planners/inspectors.
- Responsible for controlling statutory inspections and keeping all legal records in connection with the machinery and Occupational Safety Act.
- Communicates, coordinates and manages all maintenance events at the mine.
- The individual is responsible for the total material management functions through forecasting and managing the maintenance budget as well as coordinating resources.
- Custodian of the asset management system of Tshipi Borwa Mine.
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) NQF level 4·
- Artisan Trade Test Certificate will be advantageous·
- Diploma/NQF level 6 in Maintenance Management will be preferred·
- Computer literate (Microsoft office suite certificate)
