Applications are now open for the SANParks Apprenticeship/ Technical Internship opportunities. Successful applicants will be taken in on a year-long training opportunity till March 2025. It’s a perfect opportunity for youth seeking to start out their career as a technician at South Africa’s parks management authority.
- Location: The Wilderness Section of the Garden Route Region is offering an Internship opportunity.
- Duration: The duration of the Internship will be till March 2025
- Stipend: A monthly stipend of R 3728.90 will be paid to successful applicants.
- Job Guarantees: SANParks is under no obligation to employ the Intern upon completion of the programme.
- Accommodation: No official accommodation will be provided.

Qualifications
The following qualifications are required:
- National Certificate: Plumbing (N6) or
- National Certificate: Welding Application and Practice
General Requirements
- Be an unemployed graduate, aged 18 – 35
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Have completed a N6 Theory Qualification from a South African Public Higher Education Institution (HEI)
- Must not have previously been employed nor participated in an Internship/ placement programme
