Available bursary opportunities

Bursary 2025: B.Eng./ BTech, Mechanical Engineering (3rd year in 2024)

Requirements: National Diploma/BEng Tech Process Instrumentation (3rd year in 2024)

This bursary program offers not only financial assistance – you may have the opportunity to supplement your learning through progression to our highly regarded specialized in-house training program on completion of your Degree/Diploma.

Bursary 2025: BSc/BEng Mechanical Engineering (3rd year in 2025)

Requirements:

We invite all current 3rd BSc or BEng students in Mechanical Engineering  to apply for our bursary opportunity.

Bursary 2025: B.Eng. /B.Sc. Metallurgy/Material Sciences/Chemical Engineering (1st year in 2024)

This is an all-inclusive bursary offered to talented individuals who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate  degree, to pursue Metallurgy/ Material Sciences Engineering qualification for applicants locally.

Requirements:

  • You need to be in grade 12 in 2023;
  • You need to have a good Academic record with a minimum Academic average of 70%;
  • You need to be provisionally accepted for the chosen undergrad B.Eng./B.Sc.  (4 year) Degree in Metallurgy/Material Sciences at a reputable university (UP, Wits, NWU, UCT. etc.), (no diplomas), for full-time studies, in 2024;
  • You need to be a South African citizen;
  • You need to reside in Middelburg/Witbank.

Bursary 2025: B.Sc. I.T./B.Eng. Computer Engineering/ B.Sc. Computer Science (1st year in 2024)

This is an all-inclusive bursary offered to talented individuals who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate  degree, to pursue Computer Engineering/Science/Information Technology qualification for applicants locally.

Requirements

  • You need to be in grade 12 in 2024;
  • You need to have a good Academic record with a minimum Academic average of 70%;
  • You need to be provisionally accepted for the chosen undergrad B.Eng./B.Sc.

Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/Information Technology  at a reputable university (UP, Wits, NWU, UCT. etc.), (no diplomas), for full-time studies, in 2025;

  • You need to be a South African citizen;
  • You need to reside in Middelburg/Witbank

Bursary 2025: Honours in Material Science (Mechanical Lab)

This Bursary will be granted to a candidate who would like to pursue an Honours in Material Sciences (full-time studies), (who has already completed a B.Sc. Degree by the end of 2024, preferably in Material Sciences/Metallurgy), preferably at UCT (program in line with Manufacturing and Columbus needs),  but students from NWU and UP may also apply

Bursaries 2025: BSc/BEng Metallurgy / Material Science

We invite all current students (2nd  to final year) in Metallurgy or Material Science to apply for our bursary opportunity.

The bursary program offers not only financial assistance – you may have the opportunity to supplement your learning through progression to our highly regarded specialized in-house training program on completion of your Degree.

This is an all-inclusive bursary offered to talented individuals who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate  degree, to pursue Industrial Engineering qualification for applicants locally.

Requirements:

  • You need to have a good Academic record;
  • You need to be a South African citizen;
  • You need to reside in Middelburg/Witbank.

Bursary 2025: Hon. B. Sc. Material Sciences

Requirements: BSc CHEMISTRY
