Mahikeng Local Municipality, jointly with National Treasury, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified unemployed graduates to participate in a 3- year fixed term contract programme in the following discipline.
Internship vacancies and Qualifications
Town Planning x2
- B degree/BSciBTech in Town and Regional Planning or in Urban and Regional Planning
Civil Engineering x2
- BSc/8 Eng or BEngTech in Civil Engineering
Geographic Information System (GIS) x1
- BSc in Geomatics/GIS and or BSc Gee-Informatics and or BSc (Hons) Gee-informatics
Quantity Surveyor x1
- BSc/8 Eng or BEngTech in Quantity Surveying
Eligibility
Appointment will be in accordance with the Conditions of Service of Mahikeng Local Municipality. In making the final selection, preference will be given to applicants meeting the following important criteria:
- Suitable qualified and unemployed
- A valid Code 08/Code 10 drivers license will be an added advantage.
- Appointment will be made in the context of Employment Equity.
- Must be a South African citizen in possession of the valid SA ID.
- Academic context must match the academic requirement for professional registration respective statutory.
