Position Purpose
- Coordinate and administer psychometric assessments.
- Support the Assessment team in facilitating the assessment processes, and provide assessment feedback to individuals and business, under the supervision of the Supervising Psychologist and Psychometrists (Independent Practice).
- Apply behavioral psychology principles in the workplace and ensure best practice compliance.
About the Internship Programme
Transnet Corporate Centre and Academy is looking for dynamic and recently qualified graduates for a year programme (12 months programme).
This Programme will provide the incumbents with relevantworkplace experience through a structured learning programme and organizational support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee candidate assessment processes (online briefing) by administering, scoring, interpreting, and writing reports on assessments in line with HPCSA standards and internal SLA’s and Transnet policies and procedures.
- Set-up assessment batteries based on the inherent requirements of the job.
- Ensure that all assessment processes are updated and aligned to best practice.
- Build relationships with all departments to provide high quality services and to encourage feedback to improve service.
- Assist with the administration of online and paper and pencil assessments.
- Assist with the capturing of assessment requests and generation of assessment links on the online assessment portal.
- Prepares individual and group assessment reports
- Ensures that automated assessment reports are correct and appropriate recommendations are aligned to Transnet standards and requirements.
- Provides individual and management assessment feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have completed BA. Industrial Psychology / BPsych. equivalence course.
- Currently completed / completing 6 months Psychometric Programme by an accredited academic institution
- Must have acquired own supervisor from the university that will provide academic supervision during the internship Willingness to travel
- Drivers license
