Technical Official: Job Purpose
The main purpose of the job is to ensure the continuity of supply to customers by building, maintaining and repairing infrastructure and plant according to dead and limited live work practices, guidelines and service agreements on the electrical network up to and including 33 kilovolts

Minimum Requirements

- 2 Years Distribution network operating and maintenance

- Power plant specific transformers, auxiliary, switchgear theoretical knowledge at the required level
- Quality management international organisation for standardisation (ISO) 9001 and 14001
- Emergency response and safety
- Basic health, safety, environment
- Tools and specialised equipment.
- Low and high voltage systems up to 33kV
- High voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) line construction
- Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS)
- Meter worker certification
- Single phase tester
- Crane operating
- Mobile elevating platform operating
- Auger drill operating
- Rock drill operating
Key Job Responsibilities
- Perform breakdown maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance.
