Assmang Black Rock Mine is situated in the Kalahari Manganese Field which contains around 80% of the world’s known high-grade Manganese resource. 

Assmang Proprietary Limited was incorporated in South Africa in 1935, and operates through three key divisions: iron ore, manganese and the smelting operations.

Selection criteria

• South African Citizen.
• Preferably residing in the JTG District Municipality.
• Currently unemployed.
• No Active Criminal record.

Minimum requirements

• Applicant must be living with a disability.
• Certificate: Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Have learning potential.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
