The City of Cape Town invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Learnership Programme 2024.

Duration: Learnerships can run from 12 up to 24 months.
Job Purpose
The City offers vocational education and training programmes to facilitate the linkage between structured learning and work experience in order to obtain a registered qualification.
It combines theory and workplace practice into a qualification that is registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Eligibility
Only applicants permanently residing within the jurisdiction of Cape Town are eligible to apply.
Suitably qualified candidates who live in Cape Town and meet the relevant minimum requirements may register for the database.

- Additional requirements may vary depending on the type of learnership
Special Conditions
Special conditions attached to the opportunity:
- Students must not be enrolled for further studies coinciding with the internship programme training period.
- It must be emphasised there is no automatic guarantee of employment following the successful completion of the programme.

Step 2: Once you have activated the service, you will need to create an online CV and fill in your personal details, education and training, work experience, and qualifications.

- a cover letter;
- your qualifications, such as a matric certificate, diploma or degree; and
- any references.
