The Breede-Olifants Catchment Management Agency (BOCMA) is a water management entity established in terms of the National Water Act.

Its mission is to perform sustainable and equitable integrated water resource management within the Breede-Olifants Water Management area in the Western Cape Province.

About the Internship Programme

As a pledge towards contributing to skills development, the Breede-Olifants Catchment Management Agency (BOCMA) is inviting applications for a 36 months’ work experiential program (Internship).

The program is intended to attract unemployed graduates to afford them an opportunity to acquire work-based experience.

Qualifications & Fields of Study

The candidates must have completed their studies in the following fields of study:

Candidates must be 35 years or younger and unemployed, in possession of the appropriate requisite qualification and not have previously served as an intern in both the Public and Private Sector.

Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personal suitability check (criminal record check, citizenship verification, qualification verification and previous employment verification).

Only South Africa citizens are eligible to apply for this position and priority will be given to candidates residing within the Water Management Area.
