EnviroServ is providing Learnerships, Apprenticeships and Internships to enhance educational opportunities for underprivileged youth across South Africa.
By recognising the pivotal role of education and training in youth development, EnviroServ has implemented innovative programmes designed to equip young people with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the South African workforce.
Unemployed youth are invited to apply for a professional driving learnership at EnviroServ. The successful applicants will be mentored and coached while obtaining the practical experience necessary to obtain the qualification and become employable.
Minimum requirements
- Aged 25 – 34 years old
- Standard 10/ Grade 12 with Maths and English as subjects
- Code 14 driver’s license
- 3 years experience as a driver
- Clean crime record
Methodology and Benefits
- This is a 12-month internship programme with the duration split as follows:
- classroom facilitaion for 3 months
- practical on-the-job training for 9 months
- A monthly stipend will be paid.
