Job Purpose
To ensure a reliable duty by assisting RNC construction teams during maintenance and construction works in Track
To ensure that work is completed effectively and efficiently performing general worker duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 06 months of relevant experience
- Minimum Grade 09
- Recognition of Prior Learning
- Knowledge of construction work environment
- Knowledge of relevant tools, equivalent and materials
- Physically and medically fit
- Ability to communicate
Key Accountabilities
- Handling, loading and offloading material
- Distinguish and identify different types of materials and tools
- Understand the sequence of tasks given by supervisor
- Performing trench excavations
- Support and obey instruction received from Supervisor
- Cleaning of site by removal of weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors
- Must be able to use any hand tool
