Heineken Beverages (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd) is recruiting for the Learning & Development Internship opportunity for 2024.

Purpose of the Internship   

The purpose is to give practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study and have a prerequisite to have practical work experience in order to obtain their qualification.

The successful candidate will be expected to enter a 12-month contract commencing 01 July 2024 and terminating 30 June 2025.

Key Learning Areas

Key Learning Areas include, but are not limited to the following:

  • General Documentation and  a natural affinity to administration tasks, and detail orientated
  • Experience in dealing with learnerships, Internships and Bursaries
  • Experience in working on BBBEE (skills development element)
  • Experience with tracking and reporting of statistics
  • Good communication and computer literacy skills
  • Methodical, analytical and deadline driven
  • Able to solve problems and work under pressure
  • Exposure to WSP and ATR is highly desirable

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Final year of obtaining a Human Resources/ Education, Training, and Development related tertiary qualification – degree
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Sound communication and presentation skills;
  • Effective time management;
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team
  • South African citizen

  • A curriculum vitae,
  • Certified academic record,
  • Certified copy of grade 12 certificate
  • Certified copy of identity document
  • A letter from the tertiary institution confirming that the student requires exposure to the workplace to obtain their qualification
  • A format for evaluation required by the tertiary institution (Logbook)
