Safripol (PTY) LTD consists of a Commercial Head Office in Bryanston as well as key operations in Durban and Sasolburg.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc (Hons) Eng. N Dip or B Tech)
- Grade 12 (maths and physical science)
- Must have good Interpersonal Effectiveness, Leadership,
- Productivity Focus, Technical Capability, Initiative and strong assertiveness
- Computer Literate
- Willingness to learn and be responsible for own development
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to achieve Asset Mechanical Reliability (AMR) business objectives and assists the operations team in meeting Asset Capability (AC) objectives, safe and cost effectively.
- Provide technical support for day-to-day operation of the plants
- Analyse weekly plant performance, breakdowns on equipment, call outs and propose solutions to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and preservation of the maintenance budget.
- Analyse maintenance inspection feedback and help address deviations and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the development of maintenance strategies and repair procedures.
- Do root cause analysis of equipment failures and development of remedial actions.
- Identify, initiate and implement improvement project.
- Develop quality control plans for equipment repairs
