Safripol (PTY) LTD consists of a Commercial Head Office in Bryanston as well as key operations in Durban and Sasolburg.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BSc (Hons) Eng. N Dip or B Tech)
  • Grade 12 (maths and physical science)
  • Must have good Interpersonal Effectiveness, Leadership,
  • Productivity Focus, Technical Capability, Initiative and strong assertiveness
  • Computer Literate
  • Willingness to learn and be responsible for own development

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to achieve Asset Mechanical Reliability (AMR) business objectives and assists the operations team in meeting Asset Capability (AC) objectives, safe and cost effectively.
  • Provide technical support for day-to-day operation of the plants
  • Analyse weekly plant performance, breakdowns on equipment, call outs and propose solutions to improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and preservation of the maintenance budget.

  • Analyse maintenance inspection feedback and help address deviations and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance strategies and repair procedures.
  • Do root cause analysis of equipment failures and development of remedial actions.
  • Identify, initiate and implement improvement project.
  • Develop quality control plans for equipment repairs
